Competition

Collaboration with the community, local mining cooperatives and a deep local workforce

The primary competition is the status quo of current processing that is driven by a mistrust of outside companies and foreign workers. As mining is generally separated from ore processing, existing processors will push back vigorously.  As this is a known and active area for industrial as well as artisanal miners, competition may come from traditional mining companies looking to develop their concessions. There is also competition from at least one company that is considering a cyanide operation for artisanal miners.

We will address the competition by close cooperation with the community, local mining cooperatives and a deep local workforce. By quickly establishing the first phase of production we also position ourselves as the first company addressing the needs of the artisanal and small miners.
